Dogs are my life!
Like most dog lovers I’ve loved dogs all my life. I see dogs as family, they are perfect companions, they’re extremely loyal and their love for us is unconditional. My life is all about dogs. I’m either working with dogs at the grooming salon, providing training services and/or providing overnight care for dogs when their pet parents are away. There are always dogs in my life.
I hold multiple nationally accredited certifications in canine psychology, obedience training, command training, service dog training and emotional support dog training.
What’s the SPOT Method?
SPOT stands for Specialized Punishment-free Obedience Training. Being certified in canine psychology and obedience I use science-based training techniques that have been proven to be effective in modifying canine behavior. I believe in using methods that are based on the latest research in animal behavior and psychology to help dogs learn and thrive. Simply put dogs do not learn by being punished. Yelling at your dog or hitting your dog will only make matters worse. Dogs learn from positive and negative reinforcement, consistency, and repetition. Dogs require loving leadership, structure, and discipline.
